perspective
Perhaps, after all, romance did not come into one’s life with pomp and blare, like a gay knight riding down; perhaps it crept to one’s side like an old friend through quiet ways; perhaps it revealed itself in seeming prose, until some sudden shaft of illumination flung athwart its pages betrayed the rhythm and the music; perhaps … perhaps … love unfolded naturally out of a beautiful friendship, as a golden-hearted rose slipping from its green sheath.

i will always miss you, even when you’re right beside me <3

i will always miss you, even when you’re right beside me <3

I was gonna type a long, sorta pointless story of my Nicki Archi’s love life, until I realized that I could tell you that any day, and I rather tell you something else.
Love, I think I’ve come to a point where, I’m just going to live my life, and make my own choices, I will always consider my parents and the people around me, but I’ve come to realize they are not always right.I just want to be able to live my life and to be proud of the decisions and choices I make.
Whatever I may do, I do it because I believe in the rationale behind my choices. And God bless my soul on this perspective to life.I am sorry that you’ve been caught in between my dad and I, but just know and remember where my heart lies. You mentioned in the email about feeling “terrified”, and I agree, from time to time I worry, but ultimately it boils down to us and the choices we make, and I know that we both have our eyes on the long-haul, so let us do what we can and make choices that we can to make this as smooth as possible, ultimately all we can control is our own choices :)
Honestly, perspective check.I’m just glad to have met you.Imagine if there was no 6 years! How blessed will we be!But imagine not meeting each other..Hoho..there in lies my gratitude, we need to step back and out of this “plight” we created because life is beautiful! The way I see it, it’s how we look upon things, the darkness is necessary to create the contrast to the light, so that we can learn the difference and appreciate the finer things, the simpler things even in life.
So let’s always turn to our magic word, perspective <3 We sooo gotta use that word more, it is POWERFUL I tell ya!
Part of what my grandma was talking about today was about anger, and how in buddhism, they say normally people take their anger out by :
1.Physically abusing the person/an inanimate object
2.By mentally cursing
3.By being aware of that anger and then telling yourself “Hey look, I am getting angry and it’s not going to help anything”
For 3. , it sounds so stupid to internally talk to yourself, but it’s amazing, when we have an awareness of ourselves like that, we can HELP OURSELF, and be the BEST that we can be.And likewise I feel, we can do with our sadnesses, it’s all about having the awareness of the situation, our choice controls over it and changing our perspective, because as much as the cup is half empty, it’s also half full ;) it’s ying and yang baybeh!
Hahah..can’t believe I just typed that, but yeah, that’s my lil essay for you :*
You be loved BIG TIME sb,
<3 your strange girlfriend ;)

pretty cool poetry :)
another p story ;)

It’s all about perspective. Is the glass half empty of half full? Read about a rich city man and his son and their trip to the farm. An inspirational short story with an important moral at the end.
One day a father of a very wealthy family took his son on a trip to the country with the firm purpose of showing his son how poor people live.

They spent a couple of days and nights on the farm of what would be considered a very poor family.

On their return from their trip, the father asked his son, “How was the trip?”

“It was great, Dad”.

“Did you see how poor people live?” the father asked.

“Oh yeah” said the son.

“So, tell me, what did you learn from the trip?” asked the father. The son answered: “I saw that we have one dog and they had four.

We have a pool that reaches to the middle of our garden and they have a creek that has no end.

We have imported lanterns in our garden and they have the stars at night.

Our patio reaches to the front yard and they have the whole
horizon.

We have a small piece of land to live on and they have fields that go beyond our sight.

We have servants who serve us, but they serve others.

We buy our food, but they grow theirs.

We have walls around our property to protect us, they have friends to protect them.”

The boy’s father was speechless.

Then his son added, “Thanks, Dad, for showing me how poor we are.”

Isn’t perspective a wonderful thing? Makes you wonder what would happen if we all gave thanks for everything we have, instead of worrying about what we don’t have.

Appreciate every single thing you have :)
